Dear Friends and Neighbors of the Parley’s 3rd Ward, We hope this finds you well! Tomorrow is our Ward Conference. Our theme for the conference is based on the scripture Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” We will be pleased to hear from our Relief Society President, Melissa Romney, Bishop Brett Okland and Matthew Wirthlin, our Stake President. Update Regarding COVID-19
We cannot begin to express our feelings of gratitude when it comes to seeing more and more members return to our church buildings to worship Christ together in person. We are grateful for the mindfulness you have displayed during the past year, whether it be mask wearing, social distancing, or following other guidelines and protocols we have been encouraged by our government and church leaders to follow. We also express gratitude to our Heavenly Father for the remarkable miracle of the COVID-19 vaccination. Good evening brothers and sisters, We hope that you had an inspirational Easter and General Conference last weekend. We look forward to worshiping together tomorrow. Scripture of the day: “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Matt. 22:36–39). Let us never forget that the Lord gave us a specific commandment to love God and to love one another.
