Dear Brothers and Sisters, As we prepare to worship this Sunday we encourage you to read 3 Nephi 17 in preparation of our primary program. Following the Bishop’s counsel from last week’s sacrament meeting to “keep our eyes on Jesus” we invite you to feel the love that our Savior has for His “little ones” and allow the heavens to open and enter your hearts as these sweet children bear testimony of Him. Brothers & Sisters, We are grateful for the spiritual feast we received this past weekend at the Stake Conference. We love the scripture in Moroni that says “come unto Christ, and be perfected in Him.” Though our strivings to come unto the Savior are not perfect in and of themselves, we know the Lord will magnify us and our righteous efforts. We are grateful for the imperfect efforts made every day in our ward, neighborhood, and community. They matter and are meaningful. Some are seen, but most are not seen. Dear members and friends of the Parleys Stake, we invite you to join with us this weekend for Stake Conference as we work to come unto Christ in faith and unity. The schedule for the Stake Conference sessions is: Saturday Evening Session, September 9 at 7 PM at the P1/P6 Building – All adults are invited. Sunday Morning Leadership Session, September 10 at 7:30 AM at the Stake Center – All ward and stake Relief Society, Elders Quorum, Primary and Sunday School full presidencies including secretaries, ward and stake clerks and executive secretaries, ward mission leaders, ward temple and family history leaders, and one bishopric counselor from each ward are invited.
