3rd Ward

Bishopric message

Good evening,

We hope you are having a safe and peaceful weekend. Thank you to all those that participated in an inspiring Ward Conference last Sunday.

We would like to share a thought from the Gospel Living App –

“How I Hear Him”, by President Dallin H. Oaks. President Oaks says that the Lord can bless us and others if we Hear Him. “When you get an impression, act upon it, however unusual it seems or however inadequate you feel in following it.” Just as Joseph Smith was asked to Hear Him in the spring of 1820, we are asked to hear him today as we celebrate the Restoration of Jesus Christ’s gospel. Our Savior still speaks to us. As we follow his commandments, we will Hear Him. Share your experiences and act on what you hear as you feel the joy the Savior’s words bring.

Tomorrow we are pleased to hear from our full time missionaries, Elders Cole and Ochs, in sacrament meeting. Last names A-K are invited to attend in-person. For those joining the meeting via YouTube, please click here.

We are now able to have our youth Sunday School classes in-person at the Ward building. Youth classes will run from 10:15-11:00. Both this Sunday, April 25th and next Sunday May 2nd, are Sunday School weeks for youth and adults. Adults Sunday School classes will remain virtual for now. Plans are being made for the Primary children to meet in-person soon.

Please see below information from Andy Smith regarding our upcoming Ward Welfare Assignments.

We are so grateful for each of your contributions in caring for each other.

Thank you,

The Bishopric
