Happy Memorial Day Weekend,
This weekend we honor those in our great country that have died in the service of protecting our precious freedoms. We are grateful for their sacrifices on our behalf. We also acknowledge those today that risk their lives for us and our blessed country.

Our 5th Sunday meeting tomorrow will follow our sacrament meeting, starting between 10:00am-10:10am. The meeting is combined for adults, Young Men and Young Women. Carol and Oscar McConkie, parents of Katie Jardine, will be sharing experiences from their calling as Government Affairs Missionaries serving as representatives of LDS charities at the United Nations in Geneva. They have been assisting in the church’s worldwide efforts to be, “anxiously engaged in a good cause” (D&C 58:27) in supporting human rights, women’s and children’s health and education, freedom of religion and more. We thank the McConkie’s in advance for their preparation and message. This is a really special treat for us.
The Primary, including the nursery will meet in their classes and groups as they did last week during the 2nd hour.
On Thursday June 3rd, from 7:30am-11:30am, we have a welfare assignment to fulfill at the Deseret Dairy in the cheese department. Four volunteers are needed. Please contact Andy Smith (801) 718-1509, if you available to serve.
Next week, June 5-6 is our Parley’s Stake Conference. The following meetings will be held as part of the conference:

For those participating in our Young Women/Young Men Summer Book of Mormon reading challenge, the assigned reading for today ends with 2 Nephi 20. Parents, please support our youth in their reading!
