Bishopric message
Dear Friends,
Happy Memorial Day weekend! We remember those who have passed on. We remember their friendship, their goodness, their bravery, their righteous actions, and much more.
President Spencer W. Kimball stated that the most important word in the English language just might be “remember.” May we all remember Jesus, who descended below all things to redeem us. May we all remember that He showed us the right way to live. May we all remember to follow Him. May we all remember to follow His prophets. May we all remember to follow all of the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We testify that each of us (and they who have passed on) are expected to “seek this Jesus”…remembering and obeying the laws and commandments of His gospel. As we do so, we will find that the Holy Ghost fills our souls and lights our paths.
