3rd Ward

Bishopric message

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We hope you are managing well at this challenging time. We really miss being together with our friends and neighbors of the Parley’s 3rd. When we are gathered together there is great feeling of love and unity among us all. We hope the day comes soon that we can be reunited at our amazing Parley’s 3rd Ward building.

As a result of the Governor’s Directive and the Mayor’s Order, we are not able to have members take the Sacrament into the homes of other members. Accordingly, the Stake Presidency has decided to suspend all administration of the Sacramentthroughout the Stake until April 13, when the Governor’s directive is scheduled to end. At that time the subject will be reevaluated. Please support the Stake Presidency in this difficult decision. Thank you for your understanding.

We do have some wonderful Sacrament Meeting talks & 5th Sunday Meeting messages from our amazing members to share with you. Please click on the below YouTube links and you will be able to hear the talks. We would encourage you to listen to the messages as part of your in-home Sacrament Meeting tomorrow. We hope that by hearing from some of our dear friends we will feel a sense of closeness to each other despite the circumstances that keep us apart. We plan to have additional messages and musical selections to share with you over the next days and weeks.

We are so blessed to have the technology and resources to be able to hear from these amazing brothers and sisters in our homes. We thank each of them for participating in a very unusual format.

Please maintain regular contact with your ministering brothers and sisters at this time of need. If we can assist you in any way, please reach out.

We love you,

The Bishopric
