Bishopric message

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This last conference we were blessed to hear from our Prophet, President Nelson, and others how much power and strength we receive by seeking Jesus in His house. From our youth’s Final Conference Jeopardy question last week:

What are the blessings of the temple that President Nelson promised us if we attend as regularly as permitted:

Time in the temple will help you to think celestial and to catch a vision of who you really are, who you can become, and the kind of life you can have forever.

“receive a fulness of the Holy Ghost.” all who worship in the temple will have the power of God and angels having “charge over them.”

“no combination of wickedness” will prevail over those who worship in the house of the Lord.

Nothing will help you more to hold fast to the iron rod than worshipping in the temple as regularly as your circumstances permit.

We have ward temple night tomorrow at the Jordan River temple at 5:00. There are no current reservations available for that session so if you have not made your reservation we have a couple options: You can watch to see if someone cancels and reservations become available for that session, on a first come first serve basis, we also have two reservations for the 5:00 session and 4 reservations for the 6:40 sealing session – please text Ryan Creamer at 801-541-2196 if you would like to have one of those reservations and finally we encourage you to try and make it to the temple tomorrow at any time.
