Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As we continue to enjoy the Christmas season, we are excited to welcome Sister Emma Conde home, from the Atlanta Georgia mission and will be sending off Sister Avery Smith to serve in the Philippians Olongapo Mission. It will be our opportunity to hear from both of these wonderful sisters this Sunday.

Announcements:

Our hearts and prayers are with Sister Lisa Brown and her family. Her father and former ward member, Elder Paul Koelliker passed away last week. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 12:00 pm at the Hillside Stake Center, 1400 South 1900 East, Salt Lake City. There will be a viewing on Saturday morning from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Hillside Stake Center, 1400 South 1900 East.

Our hearts and prayers are with the Christensen family as well. Keith Christensen’s Funeral was held today and was a very nice service.

On December 25th, our Christmas worship schedule will only be one hour for sacrament meeting at 12:00 PM. We look forward to worshiping with you that day and singing carols of our Savior’s Birth. Great opportunity to invite friends that you think would enjoy the music of the season.

On December 31st from 9 PM – midnight a New Year’s Eve youth Dance will be held at the South Salt Lake Stake Center. Followed by a devotional from Midnight – 12:30 AM.

On January 1st, we will return to the 9:00 Schedule. Sacrament will begin at 9:00 AM.

On January 8th, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and his wife,
Sister Patricia T. Holland, will share messages of the gospel of Jesus Christ during a
worldwide devotional for young adults on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
MST. It will be broadcast from St. George, Utah. All young adults ages 18–30 are
invited to participate in the broadcast.
