Bishopric message
Brothers & Sisters,
We are looking forward to our 12pm sacrament meeting tomorrow. We will be taught by our excellent Parley’s Stake Youth Council. To join virtually click HERE.
There is so much to learn about Abraham, a man who is a key figure in 3 major religions (Judaism, Islam, and Christianity). We encourage all to study his life and covenant with God. Despite being born more than 4000 years ago, the lessons from his life are as relevant as they have ever been. Living in a society that was not exactly tolerant of his choices, Abraham maintained a deep belief in God, desired to be a greater follower of righteousness, and acted on those desires at all costs. What an incredible pattern of discipleship: Belief, Desire, Action, Covenant. As we strive to follow this pattern we testify that God will perfectly honor his covenants with Abraham and with us. May we follow the counsel of President Nelson and “keep on the covenant path.”
