Hello Parley’s 3rd Ward!

We hope this email finds you well and in good spirits. There is so much to talk about. Covid-19 has changed all our lives, but there is so much good happening in our ward. Random acts of kindness abound. People are showing love and genuine concern for one another. The weather has been good. There have never been so many people out walking around, and we feel a togetherness in spite of the social limitations. General Conference was inspiring. If ever we need direction and inspiration from a prophet, it’s now. At President Nelson’s request, many fasted yesterday, Good Friday, for relief from Covid-19. We will get through this together. Thank you for your goodness and your inspiring examples of compassion and love to one another.

Tomorrow, we have the honor to celebrate Easter Sunday and turn our thoughts toward our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is our Master and our Redeemer. He is our everything. Please know that we love you, and we are praying for you as a bishopric. We look forward to the day when we can meet again as a ward and worship together. What a great day that will be. We would like to express sincere thanks to Mindy and Tim Smith for preparing the attached audio file talks this week, as well as Carla Rae and Craig Jorgenson for the attached audio file musical duet.
