Bishopric message

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

We invite you to participate in a special ward fast this Sunday, unifying our prayers in exercising faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to invoke the powers of heaven on behalf of members of our ward and their families experiencing prolonged and challenging times with respect to their health.

Let us unite in fasting and prayers on behalf of the following individuals and their families:
Brother Mike Thomas who is anxiously awaiting a viable heart to match for transplant
Sister Connie Hopkins who was recently hospitalized with pneumonia and other health complications.

All others who are anonymously or silently suffering, recovering from surgery, or are in need of specific blessings.

We also recognize that many are laboring to support parents, children, siblings, spouses, neighbors, and others who experience physical and mental health challenges. We pray and fast for these wonderful caregivers as well. May you be lifted up and strengthened in your service.

We love you! We pray for you! God knows you and loves you! Through fasting and prayer, we deepen our humility, grow firmer in our faith in Christ, feel joy and consolation in our souls, and develop pure and sanctified hearts (Helaman 3:35). Great spiritual and temporal blessings will be claimed as we align our righteous desires to the will of our Heavenly Father. We testify that comfort, strength, healing, compassion, understanding, and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will be poured out upon all those in need.
