Bishopric message
Dear Friends,
This week on the 4th we commemorated the beginnings and independence of the United States. We hope that you enjoyed the holiday.
We proclaim with one voice, adding ours to the many before us, that the God of Heaven orchestrated the founding of this great nation, that the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ personally walked among the ancient inhabitants of this continent, and that both God our Father and Jesus Christ appeared to the boy Joseph Smith.
This is a blessed land and we are a blessed people. We members of the Church of Jesus Christ are uniquely fortunate. May each of us do our part to preserve the liberties and freedoms for which so many have sacrificed. May we all remain committed to following Jesus Christ and obeying ALL of His commandments!
We love you and we pray for you daily,
The Bishopric
